Blake Lively with Chanel Purse

Gossip Girl co-stars and real-life sweethearts Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were out in New York City to spend some quality time together. While they’re not filming, the two dressed very laid back with Penn in his simple blue tee, shorts and sneakers, and with Blake wearing her dress, sweater, flats and of course, carrying her Chanel bag.

Blake Lively has always shown loyalty for designer bags, and that definitely includes her forever-chic Chanel handbag. Unlike the classic and well-loved 2.55 purse, her Chanel bag looks more apt for casual use since it seems to come with drawstring closure, which is for me an unfussy but definitely chic design.

The drawstring also seems to expand the bag depending on how much stuff you place inside it. It also has no other design aside from the interlocking Chanel logo on the front. And as usual, this comes with the signature interlaced chain and leather shoulder strap, which is long enough to even be carried across your body.
