Bringing Out The Best In Lace With Chanel Designer Purses
Sep 2nd
I am seeing beautiful lace dresses everywhere this season, and I think they’re just so romantic when they’re worn right. Sadly, I’m totally clueless as to how you wear one, I have no idea what shoes or purse to match with a simple white lace dress. Can you help?
Thanks!

There are a few things to bear in mind when wearing lace. One is transparency. You need to know that dress better than you know your own mother, and decide how much skin you want to show. You’ll definitely want to invest in a simple white bra and panties, and some additional undergarments to help you cover up.
The great thing about lace is that it is very romantic, but it also can be elegant or sexy. It’s all about how you wear it. Let’s take a look at a few combos that can be worn as evening wear, or at more casual events.
First is this beautiful Dolce and Gabbana dress, and we’re going to add a few touches of red to really help it come alive. May I recommend the Chanel accented open toe sandal with a cutwork white metal CC logo, along with the Chanel small snakeskin leather bowling bag with CC signature in red. If you don’t want to twinkle your toes you can also substitute the sandals with Chanel stretch ballet slippers with a leather flower accent. Don’t Chanel designer purses seem like they were just made to go with lace?
The Ralph Lauren dress is really something else, especially with all the delicate lacework around the neck and shoulders. Picture it with Chanel ballet slippers in black, with patent leather and embroidered gold with leather brass links and chain bow accent. For your purse, this dress matches the Chanel fold up white clutch. Pearl and lace are always a good bet, so try the Chanel twisted pearl necklace. You could also replace the slippers with the more conventional white rope open toe T-strap sandal.
Lastly, I just love this lacy masterpiece from Oscar de la Renta. It pairs marvelously with the Chanel satin ballet slippers with white ribbon bows, as well as with Chanel brass link chain bordered black leather open toed t-strap sandals. Complete the look with another of my favorite Chanel designer purses – the Jacquard flowers black patent bag, and you’ll be ready for any occasion.
