Hippie, hipster, Boho-Chic, whatever you like to call it, the bohemian look is an essential style for Spring 2011. For some it`s just straight up how they dress…I can think of tons of women who have been rocking the bohemian look since 2005 at least. There`s nothing wrong with that. It`s hot! To keep it fresh though, you`ve got to add a fresh breath of the 2011 spirit that so many designers have been on to this year. It`s a thrifty, care free look, but if you don`t want to look like a flower child or a beggar you have to really pay attention to the details. I think it`s all about the accessories.

Nothing says spring is here better than a great floral print. Lucky for us the spring runways were in full bloom this year. Floral motifs graced bags and shoes and bold floral prints breathed new life into dresses for day and night. Stand out designers on this trend were Marni, Louis Vuitton, and Marc Jacobs. But as always runways are not real life and we need to translate it for our day to day lives.
